Facebook Marketplace is an easily accessible destination for buying, selling or finding items, property or even a Car!
All this being said it may be a confusing place to venture into when you only use Facebook for connecting to friends and family, so hopefully this step-by-step below will help:
Step 1: Head over to https://www.facebook.com/marketplace (You may have to log in to your Facebook account).
Step 2: Look for a ‘Create New Listing’ button and click on it.
Step 3: You will be presented with a window that will display 4 clickable options, ‘Item for Sale’, ‘Vehicle for Sale’, ‘Home for Sale or Rent & ‘Job Opening’. Choose the option that fits you best.
Step 4: Take some photos of whatever it may be and attach them to the ‘Add Photos’ section. Fill out the rest of the information accordingly, e.i. the title, if you were selling a book, for example, you’d set the title to something like ‘*insert book name* by *book author*’.
Step 5: Finally double-check over all the information you have put down. Specify how you would like the sale to be complete in the description, would you like someone to collect it? Maybe you would prefer to post it? or deliver it yourself? This just helps yourself and potential buyers understand what you feel comfortable with.
