Update business details on the Victory Digital dashboard
Your Victory Digital client dashboard shows your rankings, AI visibility scores and reports against your business name and website URL. If your company changes its name, moves to a new domain or updates its contact details, the dashboard needs the same update so your data stays correct and your reports reflect the real business. Here is how to edit your business details.
What you can update
You can change your business name, phone number, email address, website URL and social media links from within the dashboard. These fields feed into your exported reports, profile pages and automated communications, so keeping them accurate means every document you share with your team or stakeholders is correct.
The fields you can edit are:
- Business name: your registered or trading name as it should appear on reports.
- Phone number: the main contact number for your business.
- Email address: the public-facing contact email (separate from your login email).
- Website URL: the full address including https://.
- Social media links: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube and any other profiles your business uses.
You cannot change the account email address (the one you log in with) from the same page. Changing the login email is handled separately for security reasons, so if you need that updated, email [email protected].
How to update your details
Log in to the dashboard at https://clients.victory.digital/. Go to Settings or Account Management in the top-right menu and select Business Details or Company Profile. The label varies by dashboard version but it is always under the Settings section.
You will see your current business information displayed in editable fields. Click Edit next to any field you need to change. Type the new information and click Save to confirm.
A few things to watch for:
- Website URL must include the full address including https://, for example https://yournewdomain.co.uk. A bare domain name without the protocol will not save correctly.
- Social media links should point to your business profile pages, not your personal accounts. If your company has moved to a new LinkedIn or Facebook page, update the link here so the dashboard buttons go to the right place.
- Phone numbers work well in international format, for example +44 20 7123 4567. This avoids formatting issues when the number appears across different reports and exports.
Once you save, the updated details appear on your reports and dashboard profile straight away. There is no approval step and no delay, so double-check each field before you confirm.
What happens to older reports
Your existing reports and historical data are not affected when you update your business details. The new name and contact information apply to future exports and communications only. Any reports you have already exported or shared keep the old details, which is usually fine because they were correct at the time.
What happens when you change your website URL
If your business has moved to a new domain, updating the website URL in the dashboard tells the system to pull search data for the new address. It does not automatically reconnect Google Search Console or Google Analytics. Those services use their own verification process, and you may need to add and verify the new property in each tool separately. The guide on connecting Google Search Console to your dashboard covers that process step by step.
If you run into any issues updating your details, or you need a field changed that is not listed in the dashboard, email [email protected] and the Victory Digital team can help.
