How to use Facebook Groups

Facebook Groups is another great way to connect to other like-minded people online through social media. Searching up something as simple as ‘Cute Dogs’ on Facebook Groups page will result in hundreds if not thousands of people looking for a similar thing.

Getting started finding the right groups, joining your first-ever group or even creating your very own group may seem like a lot at first but hopefully this step-by-step will help:

Step 1: Head over to https://www.facebook.com/groups https://www.facebook.com/groups (You may have to log in to your Facebook account).

Step 2: Find a group(s) to join by inputting a word or topic into the search bar, you can also use the ‘Discover’ tab to find groups that Facebook recommend to you personally! Alternatively, if you are looking to create a group look for the ‘Create New Group’ button and click on it.

Step 3: Creating a Group is very simple, after clicking the ‘Create New Group’ you will be taken to a new page. When on the page you will have to input a Group Name & Choose Privacy status. Once you are happy with your name and the level of privacy you have chosen you can go ahead and create your new group!
