Domain Authority Score Explained

A domain authority score is a search engine’s ranking score which helps you measure the success of your site in terms of search engine results. It gives an overall ranking of a website’s performance on a search engine.

There are many things that can affect your domain authority score. Things like how search engine friendly a site is or how many back links your site contains and whether those links are from reliable sources, and those site’s domain authority scores. As well has having great quality content on your website.

The more reliable backlinks you have to your site means your score should improve. When you initially register a domain name, you shouldn’t expect to get a great score straight away. Building up your score can take time.

If you have a good domain authority score, it will mean you will rank higher on the search engine ranking page (SERP) organically.
