Adding people with Facebook’s New Pages Experience

Still in its roll-out phase, Facebook is changing how Facebook Pages are viewed, previously they have been just that, a Page but now they are essentially Profiles.  

Going forward you will need to log into your personal Facebook account and then change to the Page to post as the page and interact with other members and groups. 

Recently, a new client needed to add us to the account and that was when I realised that we haven’t posted a guide on how to add new people to the New Pages Experience.  

Firstly, on PC 

1. Sign in to your personal Facebook account
2. Top right, click on your profile picture  
3. Select “All profiles” 
4. Choose your page 
5. Click on your page and click the pages name to take you to your profile* 
6. Sometimes your menu will be on the left, other times you will need to click manage 
7. You should see Professional Dashboard in the top left.  
8. Click Page Access 
9. Add new  
10. Enter the email of the person you are looking to add to the Page.  

* Sometimes you may sent directly to the home page of your profile, if this is the case, Professional Dashboard will be on the home screen from here you can click it and jump to step 8.  

Secondly on mobile 

1. Log in to your personal profile 
2. Click your profile picture in the top right 
3. Click the downward arrow and choose the page you would like to access 
4. Click your profile in the top right if you haven’t defaulted here already.  
5. Click professional dashboard 
6. Scroll down to Page Access 
7. Add new  
8. Enter the email of the person you would like to add to the page.
